Dear Family and Friends,

 

Once again this year a group of men from North and South Carolina will be traveling to central Europe to carry with us a message of Sonship as we tell our own stories of how we are learning to be Fathered by God.  Barn International Ministries (BIM) has been reaching out to men locally for over 13 years and internationally for 5 years. The message of our true identity in Christ and living from the heart as sons of a good Father has resonated with many men both locally and abroad.

 

On September 28 a group of six or seven men will fly from Charlotte to Prague, Czech Republic to meet with a few leaders over there and together with them, set the stage for a men’s gathering that, we believe will allow the Holy Spirit to do the work of transformation in the lives of the 50 or 60 men we anticipate meeting with. Our gathering is in a resort area in the Ore Mountains right near the German border. Our vision is both macro and micro as we desire transformation in the heart of Europe while our focus is going after the heart of one man.

 

Our team meets weekly throughout the year, growing in relationship with one another so that we are able to model relationships of heart connection to the men with whom we are sharing our stories.  We know that none of this will happen without the presence and power of the Holy Spirit and that’s where you come in. We need those who share our desire to impact the Heart of Europe to stand in the gap for our team, our families and those we are reaching out to encourage. Please pray for us.

 

Another need is, of course, financial (you knew this was coming).  We are not asking for financial support out of guilt but out of a shared belief that this is a good place to invest your resources.  The Czech Republic has an amazing history of birthing significant spiritual movements, but is today one of the most atheistic countries in the world.  We believe that there is still much to come out of that nation and are committed to doing our part in re-opening the wells in that great nation.

 

The cost per person for plane tickets and accomodations is about $1,500. All gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law when donations are made through BIM.
